This tractor stands as a sentinel watching over the land where it labored. It is an important witness to the mammoth job of making a living off the land and providing for your family. The tractor witnessed all the blood, sweat and tears that went into every inch of plowed ground, every bale of hay bundled, every row of field turned under. It worked without complaint…
If you aren’t in a hurry, and take in the energy of the time past, you can see the farmer or rancher park the tractor carefully in the shade and walk away. Did he plan on coming back? Was he just going to lunch? or to town to get a part that had broken? Does he or his son or daughter still own the land? …
