We had a wonderful time, exploring the beauty of Arizona and the joy of being with family & friends.
I took thousands of pictures, well maybe not a thousand, but a bunch. I also took a journal and did some writing & sketches. I have some thoughts on the scenes and emotion of the beauty. I am looking forward to see how I will express the beauty of the area in my art . My thoughts are to start with some watercolors of the magnificent mountains, then progress to oil.
The entire time that I was out there, I wished that I had my easel and paints. I rarely go more than a couple of days without painting, so to be in the face of all that beauty and only have a camera and journal/pen was a challenge for me.
I guess I had better get busy now, painting. Susan
